ABOUT THE PROJECT<\/span><\/p>\n

In collaboration with the housing department AKB, Ved Milestedet in R\u00f8dovre, we investigated in 2015-2016 how to work with children's democracy in social housing areas. The purpose was to investigate what, and how, children can have an influence and to collect the first practical experiences on the involvement of children in social housing areas via the implementation of a pilot project. <\/span><\/p>\n

Kids Democracy's fundamental idea is to give children influence over their own lives, where they live, and at the same time achieve more well-functioning housing areas. On the basis of experience gained from the study and the pilot test, the project must be scaled up in part II. This means that different child involvement methods must be further developed and tested across the country in four different housing areas in the project: Involvement of children in social housing areas via Kids Democracy: Development, testing and anchoring \u2013 a practical tool for Kids Democracy.<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n
