City-wide effort in indoor recycling

CITY-WIDE EFFORT IN INDOOR RECYCLING

ABOUT THE PROJECT

The project is an extension of the two pilot projects "Test of indoor recycling in social housing areas" (see here) and "Local resources and indoor recycling" (see here),  The results in the two tests have been promising, and Copenhagen municipality therefore wants to roll out their service design as a city-wide effort for the whole of Copenhagen. In is in this effort that Konradi – life in and between the houses, assists the municipality of Copenhagen the contact and cooperation with the social housing organizations in Copenhagen, which make up approx. 20% of the housing stock in the municipality.

Konradi – life in and between the houses provides strategic advice in connection with the municipality of Copenhagen's communication with the social housing organisations. The operational staff in the individual housing departments play an absolutely central role in ensuring that the rollout of Copenhagen municipality's efforts has the best possible effects on waste sorting. Konradi - life in and between the houses therefore prepares the communication material that will form the basis for the housing organizations and departments to support the city-wide effort.

RESULTS

Communication materials targeted towards the housing organizations as well as the housing department's local resources - the operating staff and the department board - to increase recycling in the social housing areas.
